Part-Time Children’s Movement & Yoga Instructor
Do you love helping children move, explore, and build confidence through movement, mindfulness, and play?
Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time instructor to lead movement and/or kids yoga classes:
- Tuesday & Thursday mornings
- Start time around 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM
- Small group classes
- Ages approximately 2–8
- Opportunity to creatively design classes using movement, mindfulness, storytelling, and music
Responsibilities
- Lead fun, developmentally appropriate movement or yoga classes
- Create a calm, welcoming, and inclusive environment
- Support self-regulation, body awareness, and confidence through movement
- Maintain a structured yet playful class flow
- Communicate professionally with families and staff
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children (teaching, childcare, camps, or coaching)
- Background in yoga, dance, movement education, early childhood education, or related field preferred
- Energetic, patient, and reliable
- Comfortable leading groups independently
- Background check required
