Overview
Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical, Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Travel assignment starts 04/20/2026 for a 13-week duration. Weekly pay range: $2,180 to $2,298 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift is 12-hour days (7:00 AM–7:30 PM), totaling 48 hours per week. Setting: hospital-based Medical-Surgical unit with telemetry.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical patients
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, manage IV therapies, and document in the electronic medical record (Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred)
- Maintain telemetry monitoring, recognize and respond to dysrhythmias, and escalate changes in condition to the care team promptly
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans and discharge planning
- Uphold patient safety, infection prevention, and accurate documentation; adapt to unit workflows during float assignments

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license; license must be uploaded with profile
- Minimum 2 years of current Medical-Surgical experience with telemetry
- BLS and ACLS certifications active; NIHSS certification required
- Basic Dysrhythmia course completed (strongly required); Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
- Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency license (Nursing Pool) required up front with traveler submissions
- Traveler must have own vehicle; perm address included in profile; RTO requests to be noted at submission
