We are seeking an experienced Audit Director to lead and grow a dynamic audit practice within a fast-growing, independent consulting and accounting firm. What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage multiple audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring quality, profitability, and timely delivery
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on compliance, consulting, and business improvement
• Drive business development initiatives including client proposals, cross-selling, and practice growth strategies
• Mentor, coach, and develop staff through performance feedback, training, and professional development
• Oversee department budgeting, profitability metrics, and compliance with quality control standards
• Collaborate with senior leadership to support firm-wide operations and strategic planning
• Stay current with industry trends and professional standards by attending relevant development and networking events

What You Bring:

• CPA designation with 7+ years of progressive experience in a public accounting environment
• 3+ years experience in quality control (QC) review functions
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to coach and mentor teams effectively
• Proficient in audit and industry software including Profx, Engagement, CCH, and Microsoft Office suite
