Accounts Payable Administrator
Accounts Payable Administrator
- Review invoices for proper documentation and approvals before processing
- Enter invoices into the accounting system accurately and on schedule
- Process payments (checks and electronic transfers), obtain signatures, and distribute as directed
- Serve as the first point of contact for vendor inquiries related to Accounts Payable
- Maintain reports, spreadsheets, and AP files for the company
- Support monthly closings, audits, and financial analysis as needed
- Assist corporate financial officers with special projects and reporting
- Provide occasional administrative support to various departments and team members
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills for working with vendors and colleagues

- This is a full-time, non-exempt position based in New Bedford, MA
- Normal office environment with occasional exposure to seafood allergens
- Ability to sit, walk, and perform computer-based tasks for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
