Leave and Disability Administration Specialist (Hybrid)
Job Description
Our client in Cambridge is hiring a contract Leave and Disability Administration Specialist to counsel employees and managers on complex leave laws, workers’ compensation, ADA accommodations, and long-term disability claims while ensuring compliance, timely processing, and excellent service delivery.
This position will require 3 days/week on-site at the client's offices in Cambridge.
Job Responsibilities:
- Advise employees and managers on FMLA, PFML, workers’ compensation, LTD, and company leave policies
- Analyze and resolve leave cases using HR systems and data
- Manage ADA accommodation requests, coordinating with employees, managers, and HR
- Process workers’ compensation, top-off requests, and LTD claims, including transitions to long-term disability
- Run reports and track data to monitor leaves, accommodations, and LTD claims
- Provide responsive, customer-focused service to employees and departments
Job Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in benefits, leave administration, accommodations, and worker's comp
- Strong knowledge of FMLA, PFML, workers’ compensation, LTD, and ADA
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex laws and policies clearly
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and HR systems (SAP experience a plus) with ability to manage reporting
