CRM Project Manager (Salesforce)
Greater Boston Area (Remote/Hybrid)
Contract – 6-12+ months Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Implementation Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of ERP and CRM implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience overseeing complex system rollouts, with a specific background in Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite implementations. This role requires a proactive leader who can coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, budgets, and risks, and ensure stakeholder alignment from pre-implementation through post-go-live support. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project management for ERP and CRM implementations, with a major focus on Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite projects
- Define project scope, deliverables, goals, and success criteria in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource assignments, and budgets
- Lead cross-functional implementation teams, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and alignment at each project phase
- Act as the primary point of contact for business users, technical staff, sponsors, and third-party vendors/consultants
- Monitor project progress, manage issues/risks, and proactively resolve roadblocks to maintain project health and schedule
- Facilitate system and process design sessions, requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management activities
- Ensure data migration, system configuration, integration, and customization tasks are executed effectively
- Manage cutover and go-live activities, as well as post-launch stabilization and knowledge transfer to support teams
- Track and report project status, KPIs, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders
- 5+ years of end-to-end project management experience with a strong focus on ERP and CRM implementations
- Demonstrated success as a project manager or implementation manager on Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, and cross-functional project teams
- Solid understanding of business processes in finance, sales, supply chain, and customer operations
- Experience developing detailed project plans, budgets, status reports, and risk mitigation strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence and partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency with common project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and tools (Jira, MS Project, Gants Charts, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Comfortable leading remote and onsite teams and coordinating with distributed vendor and partner resources
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master, or similar certification
- Experience implementing other leading ERP or CRM platforms
- Experience within the Alarms industry
- Familiarity with system integration, data migration, and change management best practices
- Based in the Greater Boston area (ability to attend occasional onsite sessions as needed)
