Staff Accountant

Our client is a leader in a rapidly evolving, expanding industry. They have an immediate opening for a hungry, self-motivated Staff Accountant who thrives in complex, fast paced environments and enjoys learning & taking on new challenges. Under the mentorship of a dynamic Controller, this is an excellent role for a candidate with a foundation in accounting who wants to be at the forefront of a booming market.

salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 9 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for cash, payroll, and intercompany transactions.

• Manage the full A/P cycle, monitor A/R aging, and perform daily cash management reporting.

• Track and reconcile inventory across multiple stages of the supply chain, including raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished retail goods.

• Assist in monthly COGS calculations, specifically focusing on labor allocations and change-in-inventory adjustments.

• Support specialized tax compliance (including cost classification and documentation) and ensure all reporting meets stringent industry-specific standards.

• Maintain rigorous internal controls and document processes to ensure the organization remains "audit-ready" at all times.
