Senior Backend Engineer
Job Overview
We’re hiring a full-time Senior or Staff Backend Engineer based remotely within the United States. Our client is a rapidly expanding tech company dedicated to developing scalable backend systems and data platforms that drive advanced analytics and actionable insights. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience writing production-grade backend code
- Background in data platforms, ETL/ELT workflows, and event-driven architecture
- Deep knowledge of system architecture, scalability, and performance tuning
- Demonstrated ability to own and deliver reliable backend solutions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native technologies
- Willingness to contribute across the stack, including frontend when needed
- Product-focused mindset with attention to detail and edge cases
