Manufacturing Technician – 2nd Shift

Location: Lowell,MA
Starting Rate: $21.00/hour

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: Four 10-hour shifts

• Hours: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (Monday–Thursday or as assigned)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This role involves operating and maintaining production equipment in a cleanroom environment while adhering to strict GMP and ISO standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in aseptic techniques, automated manufacturing, and a strong commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow daily production schedules and ensure materials are stocked and ready for use.

• Inspect and calibrate equipment such as balances, pipettes, mediaclaves, and water purification systems.

• Sanitize production areas and equipment before and after use.

• Weigh and measure materials with precision.

• Accurately document lot numbers, calibration and serial numbers, and perform pre-fill quality checks (e.g., pH, temperature, TOC, resistivity).

• Complete batch process records with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

• Assist in the execution and documentation of IQ/OQ/PQ validation processes.

• Maintain and report manufacturing metrics.

• Ensure all activities comply with cGMP, ISO, QMS, and other regulatory requirements.

• Generate product labels in alignment with production needs.

Requirements:

• Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or

  • Associate degree in a related field.

• At least 1 year of cleanroom experience is required.

• Familiarity with aseptic processing and laboratory practices.

• Experience with automated manufacturing processes is a plus .

• Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment is a plus .

• Must be comfortable wearing full cleanroom PPE (smock, boots, mask, etc.).
