Are you an experienced HVAC and Refrigeration professional looking for a career with variety, independence, and long-term growth? We are seeking a Mobile HVAC/Refrigeration Engineer to support multiple commercial facilities throughout the North Shore region of Massachusetts , including North Andover, Baldwin, and Beverly.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys working independently while servicing a diverse portfolio of commercial facilities.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday

• 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• Rotating after-hours on-call schedule shared among the team

Responsibilities

• Travel between approximately 10-12 commercial facilities performing preventative maintenance and repairs

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems

• Maintain mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural, fire/life safety, and building control systems

• Perform preventative maintenance including inspections, cleaning, calibrating equipment, and replacing components

• Record equipment readings and make adjustments to optimize system performance

• Respond to service requests and emergency repairs across multiple locations

• Monitor outside contractors and ensure quality workmanship

• Maintain tools, inventory, and maintenance documentation

• Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Refrigeration License REQUIRED

• EPA Universal Certification required

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Experience maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC and building mechanical systems

• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple locations

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Experience

• Trade school education in HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical systems

• Commercial refrigeration experience

• Mechanical building operations background

• Experience supporting office buildings, warehouses, garages, or industrial facilities
