Welder
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our client's team in Dalton, MA In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality welds and contributing to the overall success of our projects. If you have a passion for metalwork and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks on various materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Inspect welds for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance welding skills and techniques.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding program is a plus.
- Proven experience as a welder, with proficiency in MIG adn TIG welding.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Welding certification is preferred but not required.
