Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Location: Falmouth, MA

Duration: 12 Weeks

Shift: 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM (36 hours/week, Rotating Evenings/Nights)

Pay Rate: $50–$60/hour

Position Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry for an exciting job in Falmouth, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients using the nursing process

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members

• Administer medications and manage IV therapy safely

• Monitor and interpret telemetry

• Educate patients and families effectively

• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) accurately

• Provide compassionate care to diverse populations, including post-operative and terminally ill patients

• Identify and report signs of abuse/neglect as mandated

• Maintain compliance with professional standards and hospital policies

• Respond to urgent/emergency situations appropriately

• Manage patients with orthopedic conditions, chest drainage devices, and those receiving epidural analgesia

• Apply effective time management and customer service skills in daily practice

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Massachusetts or compact state eligibility

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience

• Proficiency in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and medication administration

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation

• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

• Ability to educate patients and families effectively

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills

• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus
