JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE:
Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides consultation to primary care and behavioral health staff
around treatment options for patients with behavioral health disorders.
Also, Provides direct clinical services and staff supervision.
Works as part of the patient’s primary care treatment team and
provides support in managing the psychological aspects of the
patient’s care.

Behavioral Health Director
FLSA STATUS:
Exempt
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attend primary care treatment team meetings
- Support each primary care team with behavioral health perspective on patients
- Participate in daily staff ‘huddle’
- Provides integrated behavioral health consultation, brief therapy, and diagnostic evaluation
- Supervise other behavioral health staff (e.g. Community Health Workers), as may be required
- Participate in staff training around motivational interviewing, behavioral management of complex medical and psychologically impacted patients
- Complete comprehensive documentation for each patient visit in the patient’s health record
- Demonstrate a commitment to integrated health care by at least quarterly attendance at oral health department meetings
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Strong commitment to CHCFC Mission. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work with a diverse population and sensitivity to low-income populations.
Doctorate in clinical psychology or Master’s in Clinical Social Work
Current independent license in MA (e.g. Clinical/Counseling Psychologist, LICSW)
At least two years of health psychology experience
Bilingual/multilingual and bicultural/multicultural clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Able to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
While performing the required duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent when traveling between Health Center locations where medical care is provided. This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues.
