Manager, CPS Brand Marketing

A Brief Overview As the Core Performance Sports (CPS) Brand Manager, you will work closely with the VP, Marketing, and lead a 360° strategic approach/execution of major category and seasonal marketing initiatives within the CPS category (i.e., Tennis, Wrestling, Volleyball, and new sports added to the portfolio). These initiatives should drive brand strength, fuel consumer demand, and strengthen our connection with consumers. In addition, this position will oversee the day-to-day functions, relationships, and marketing execution for Tennis Specialty and Team accounts. The role will lead strategy development, work cross-functionally with our internal ANA/global marketing partners, cross-functional partners, support sell-in, execution, and evaluation of major CPS category marketing programs. This is a high-functioning team atmosphere where cross-pollination of different departments and teammates is critical for success. This role requires a dynamic, passionate, and adaptable personality with a self-starter and entrepreneurial attitude. Leadership Responsibilities- This position does not have people leadership responsibilities.
- Lead, manage, and own Core Performance Sports brand voice while supporting DTC, Tennis Specialty and Team accoutns
- Partner with the VP of Marketing, Sports Marketing and key cross functional teammates to develop, build, grow and create a clear CPS strategy that will set ASICS up for growth and success. Will run point on for the ANA region for all global marketing
- Drive efforts in creating, aligning & executing all key Brand initiatives activations, in-store and out of store (POP, fixtures, shop in shops, digital and social.
- Support cross functional partners, using earned and paid media, content marketing, and social engagement to extend the voice of CPS
- Strategize, build and manage CPS marketing budgets including overarching yearly budget, co-op budget with specialty accounts, daily bill processing for vendors and retailers and monthly budget actualization to stay within established annual budgets
- Maintain clear intra-department and inter-department communication on all marketing programs and projects. Monthly recaps, post project evaluations. Maintenance of administrative and relevant reporting and planning systems such as marketing calendars, special project directives and communication of such to partners (Marketing, Retail, Accounts, Sales, etc.)

- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Marketing or a combination of education, training and experience
- 5-7 years of proven experience in a sport industry role focused on marketing, and/or other industry related positions (e.g., merchandising and/or in field support role) required
- Retail experience and Tennis expertise preferred
- Ability to travel to key activations, retailer visits and key industry moments 25% + required
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Micorsoft Teams etc.) required
Min: $81,000 Max:$ 90,000
