Visiting Part-Time Faculty Position in Italian Studies
The Department of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a visiting part-time faculty position in Italian, beginning in August 2026. The position includes teaching three courses-one in the Fall semester and two in the Spring semester. We seek a generalist to teach elementary and intermediate Italian language courses. Ph.D in Italian at time of appointment is preferred, but candidates who are ABD or have an M.A. will also be considered. There are no employee benefits associated with this part-time visiting faculty appointment. Compensation for teaching one course in the fall 2026 semester is $8000. Compensation for teaching two courses in the spring 2027 semester is $16,000. The College will not support H-1B visa applications that require the $100,000 employer fee. Qualifications
