Tax Manager (100% Remote)

We are seeking a curious and eager client-facing professional with a desire to help shape and partner with existing management to grow an innovative firm. If you have experience walking clients through end-to-end processes and enjoy building lasting relationships, you would be a strong fit for our specialized team.

Broad responsibilities :

• Handle a range of tax filings across corporate, individual, and partnership entities at federal and state levels for small and medium-sized businesses (Giving you the opportunity to speak directly with their decision makers!)
• Stay current with industry updates and actively pursue professional development opportunities.
• Conduct thorough research on tax legislation, solving complex problems and advising clients on strategic tax planning.
• Oversee a small team of Tax accountants; serving as both a mentor and day-to-day advisor on tax pronouncements / research areas
• Collaborate closely with clients to gather information and ensure timely submissions, while maintaining clear communication within the team.

Qualifications:

• Applicable public Accounting/Tax experience with SMB Tax experience
• CPA completed or In-progress
• Ability to be successful in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
• Interest in current technology and market strategies
• Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and being collaborative with your team.
