The Clinical Trial Associate role requires to work office-based in the Cambridge office. This is non-negotiable. The successful candidate must be able to work 5 days in Cambridge. Only apply if you can commit to this mandatory requirement.

As a Clinical Trial Associate, you will support the management and execution of clinical trials by handling a range of administrative and operational tasks.

To be considered for this level, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Experience as a Clinical Trial Associate ideally gained within a CRO or a commercial clinical research environment (either at a Sponsor, pharmaceutical company or CRO),

  • UK-based clinical trial co-ordination/administration experience gained within the clinical research industry or within NHS trust/hospital setting

  • eTMF experience, with responsibility for TMF quality, completeness, timeliness and inspection readiness would be an advantage

What You Will Do:

You will have the opportunity to join a well-established team of dedicated CTAs providing key clinical trial administration support to exciting clinical trials. To succeed, you will demonstrate good UK clinical trial coordination with the ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced working environments.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing administrative support for clinical trials, including managing documentation, coordinating meetings, and maintaining clinical trial-related records.

  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents and ensuring compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support trial operations and resolve any issues that arise during the course of the study.

  • Monitoring and tracking trial progress, including managing site communications and ensuring timely delivery of study materials.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with site staff and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth trial operations and support overall project success.

Your Profile:

Candidates should be able to demonstrate both strong technical expertise and the ability to provide guidance and leadership within the CTA function.

Required qualifications and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field

  • Extensive experience in a clinical trial associate or clinical trial administrator role, with a solid understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to multi-task projects effectively.

  • Proficiency in clinical trial management systems and relevant software, with a keen eye for detail in documentation and data management.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
