Recruiter/HR Generalist
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Recruiter/HR Generalist onsite in the Boston, MA area. Summary: We are looking for a highly organized Recruiter/HR Generalist to support our HR team with full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, and compliance. This role helps ensure we hire and support quality staff who deliver community-based services for individuals with developmental disabilities. - Recruiter/HR Generalist will manage full-cycle recruiting: posting jobs, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and tracking applicants
- Conduct CORI, SORI, DPPC, fingerprinting, and maintain compliance with all background check policies
- Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure all required onboarding documents are completed
- Maintain ADP HRIS data, schedules, payroll status changes, and I-9/E-Verify compliance
- Research new recruitment sources and participate in job fairs
- As a Recruiter/HR Generalist, you will support general HR functions including filing, document management, and administrative tasks
- Provide occasional backup coverage at the front desk
- High School diploma/GED required; College degree preferred
- 2+ years of recruiting or HR experience
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Strong initiative and ability to follow policies and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Respectful, professional, and supportive interpersonal style
- Commitment to diversity, dignity, and community inclusion
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work professionally with staff at all levels
- Valid driver's license and acceptable background checks (CORI & fingerprinting)
