Job Description

The Line Inspector / Floral Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting pre-production (inbound) and post-production (outbound) quality inspections of flowers and floral products to ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications. This position functions as a critical quality control checkpoint in a wholesale flower bouquet distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-production and post-production quality inspections of flowers and floral products.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications.
• Identify floral defects such as bruising, dehydration, or improper assembly.
• Work independently and as part of a team to maintain quality control standards.
• Utilize basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality tracking systems.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in quality control, floral wholesale, bouquet production, agriculture, food production, or a quality inspection role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Spanish language proficiency required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in floral inspection, production line, and line inspection.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality tracking systems.
• Ability to assist in training production employees on quality inspection standards.
• Participate in quality improvement discussions and recommend process enhancements.
• Support special projects or audits related to floral quality or waste reduction.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hyde Park, MA.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00/hr.
