Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract
Join as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist and apply your skills where they are needed. You will evaluate and treat adults and/or pediatric patients with communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting. This role supports interdisciplinary care and documentation to meet facility and regulatory standards. Applicants should be prepared to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to quality outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
- Master‘s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Massachusetts SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
- Ability to perform dysphagia evaluations and provide treatment for communication and swallowing disorders.
- Willingness to float to other nearby facility locations when requested. (Client requires floating to other facilities.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with restorative programs and interdisciplinary care planning in skilled nursing facilities.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems commonly used in post-acute settings.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0800-1630.
- Work days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
- Float requirement: May be required to float to other facilities.
