In this people-first role, you will remain visible, help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.44 / Hour

DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies for a fast-paced technology location.
- Screen people, packages, bags, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with post instructions, and report irregularities, prohibited items, and/or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate logs, screening records, and incident documentation, while communicating clearly with site personnel regarding access questions, screening outcomes, and other security-related concerns.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around designated screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter as directed, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
