Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Falmouth, Massachusetts 02540

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: 36 hours/week

Shift: 3x12-hour shifts (Day/Night Rotation)

• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  
  Additional: Every other weekend & rotating holidays required

Compensation:

• Weekly Stipend: $1,554 (Travel Role)

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and delivers exceptional patient care in emergency settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses

• Perform triage and prioritize care based on patient acuity

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Deliver emergency care including IV starts, ventilator support, and telemetry monitoring

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

• Supervise and support ancillary staff

• Serve as charge or resource nurse when needed

• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital policies

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State-specific)

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience

• At least 1 year of ER travel experience required

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Strong skills in IV therapy, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring

• Completion of pharmacology and arrhythmia exams (as required)

• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• De-escalation certification
