Full-Time Dog Groomer | WAGS Charlestown

WAGS Charlestown is looking for a talented, kind, and reliable full-time dog groomer to join our growing team!

We are a female-owned and operated business (est. 2016) built on community, compassion, and a genuine love for dogs and the people who love them. Our team is made up of supportive, hardworking women who truly care about creating a positive, low-stress environment for both pups and each other.

We are looking for an energetic, motivated team member who takes pride in their work, communicates well with clients, and enjoys being part of a collaborative, supportive environment.

✨ Position Details:

• Full-time position
• Schedule options:
• • Monday through Friday OR
  • 4 weekdays + 1 weekend day
• Flexible shifts:
• • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Target start date: May 1st
• • Opportunity to start sooner (Mondays–Wednesdays) if desired

Compensation & Benefits:

• Commission-based position
• Our grooming prices average approximately $95 per hour , allowing groomers to earn strong, consistent income based on experience, efficiency, and client retention
• Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit

• Steady, loyal client base and full books help support reliable earnings

Responsibilities:

• Full-service grooming (haircuts, baths, nail trims, etc.)
• Communicating clearly with clients about desired groom outcomes
• Ensuring each dog’s safety, comfort, and overall experience
• Maintaining a clean and organized grooming space
• Working collaboratively with our front desk and walking teams

✂️ Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of professional grooming experience
• Strong scissoring and breed-specific grooming knowledge
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with patience and care
• Reliable, communicative, and team-oriented
