Change Management Project Manager

A leading global financial services organization is seeking a Change Management Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale strategic initiatives across multiple business units. This role is responsible for driving projects through the full lifecycle—from planning and budgeting through execution and delivery—while ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a leader with deep project management expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience delivering complex initiatives in a regulated financial services environment. Key Responsibilities: Project Management & Delivery

  • Lead cross-functional teams in defining project scope, planning, budgeting, and execution

  • Drive projects to completion on time, within scope, and within budget using best-practice methodologies

  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and resources throughout the lifecycle

  • Review business cases, requirements, functional specifications, and implementation plans

  • Ensure thorough testing of system and process changes (UAT, regression, client, and pilot testing)

  • Develop and present project dashboards, status reports, and change oversight materials

  • Support portfolio-level reporting and analysis for senior leadership

Stakeholder & Client Experience
  • Partner with project sponsors, business leaders, and technology teams to align project goals and execution
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress, risks, and solutions clearly and consistently
  • Control scope and mitigate scope creep while adapting to evolving business needs
  • Deliver strategic recommendations and drive execution to achieve desired business outcomes
  • Enhance client and user experience through proactive planning and solutioning
Analysis & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead business analysis to evaluate how changing needs impact systems, processes, and products
  • Track project ROI, costs, and benefits to ensure value delivery
  • Identify and resolve critical issues that may impact project success
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead and mentor project teams, business analysts, and subject matter experts
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance input for team development
  • Foster collaboration and alignment across business, operations, and technology groups

salary: $70 - $85 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 8+ years of project management experience, preferably within financial services
  • Understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and lifecycle delivery
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives and large stakeholder groups
  • Proven leadership, decision-making, and execution skills
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory and operational standards within financial services
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within custody, investment operations, or financial services platforms
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and delivery frameworks
  • Experience with ROI tracking, business case development, and change management initiatives
  • Background in stakeholder negotiation and executive communication
