Join the ZoomInfo Person Data Team and help shape the foundation of our most critical data assets. We aim to build scalable, cloud-native backend systems that reconcile billions of raw records into clean, structured, and actionable person profiles - powering ZoomInfo's GTM Studio, SalesOS, and Copilot. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who combines strong backend expertise with a data-centric mindset. This is not just about writing code - it's about understanding massive systems, improving them, and building new capabilities that impact millions of business users.

What You'll Do:

• Design and implement scalable data ingestion and enrichment systems that handle 100M+ records daily.


• Build pipelines and APIs using Java, Spring, Kotlin, Apache Beam, Kafka, and GKE to support real-time and batch data workflows.


• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to align technical decisions with business goals.


• Contribute to the evolution of our engineering culture through mentorship, code quality standards, and architectural decisions.


• Own your services end-to-end, from design to production support.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field is required, Masters preferred.


• 5+ years of experience building backend systems in Java or Kotlin.


• Experience with large-scale data processing (e.g., Apache Beam, Spark)


• Strong understanding of distributed systems and stream-based architecture


• Practical experience with GCP or AWS Background working with data-heavy products, including normalization, deduplication, and data quality


• Familiarity with building production-grade APIs and managing services in containers


• Passion for clean architecture and engineering craftsmanship A bias toward action, ownership, and continuous improvement


• Bonus Points For experience with Kotlin and building reusable libraries for data engineering .


• Exposure to machine learning workflows or LLM/AI-powered features.


• Demonstrated success working on systems with privacy or compliance considerations

Below is the US base salary for this position. Additional compensation such as Bonus, Commission, Equity and other benefits may also apply.
