Title: RN-MS/TELE
Pay Details:
Local: $2132/Weekly ($60/hr on W2)
Traveler (more than 55 miles): $2800/weekly with non taxable stipend
Shift : 12-Hour Rotating

• Contract Guarantee : 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
• License Requirement :
  • MA Registered Nurse license required at the time of submission
  • COVID vaccine and booster,
• Position Type : Float Pool Position (15 medical-surgical units in a 600-bed facility)
• Patient Ratios :
  • 4:1 on days
  • 6:1 on nights
• Shift Details :
  • Combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
  • Rotating day/eve/night position
  • Required to work all shifts as needed
  • Every other weekend and holidays required
  • No on-call required
• Ventilator Management : Managed by Respiratory Therapy (RT); Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for administering nebulizers
• Unit-Specific Procedures :
  • 12-lead EKGs
  • Lasix gtt
  • Blood transfusions
  • Telemetry monitoring
• Travel RNs : Assigned to medical-surgical float pool, covering a variety of specialties including neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, surgery, oncology, and transplantation.
• Schedule :
  • Assignments can change rapidly (as late as 2 hours before a shift)
  • No fixed schedules; requests for time off (RTO) honored, but must be presented at submission
• Experience Required :
  • 3+ years related work experience
  • Prior travel experience mandatory
  • Level I trauma experience preferred
• Certifications : ACLS and BLS required
• Technical Skills : Basic familiarity with computers and ability to navigate web-based applications; Epic experience preferred
• Additional Notes :
  • Local travelers (within 50 miles) not accepted
  • Orientation is weekly (every Monday, except holidays)
  • Travelers who have worked with Beth Israel Lahey Health within the last six months are not accepted
  • Personal days off cannot exceed 4 days, no blocked scheduling requests
• Scrubs : Any color allowed
• Parking : Costs up to $43/day when working day shifts; public transportation available
