Process analyst
We are seeking a Process Analyst to join our growing team. This individual will support government transportation agency process management. In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and overall quality of project documentation, deliverables, and data across a range of ongoing transportation-related programs and initiatives. You will work closely with experienced professionals to conduct detailed reviews, identify discrepancies, and provide actionable feedback to enhance the performance and success of our clients’ programs and projects. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be instrumental in meeting their high standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Transportation Project Documentation: Conduct comprehensive reviews of project documentation to ensure adherence to established standards and guidelines.
- Deliverable Inspection: Support the evaluation of transportation project deliverables, including improvement plans, system implementations, and operational procedures, to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality standards.
- Data Verification: Collaborate in validating transportation-related data, such as asset inventory and condition assessments, asset investment and improvement plans, budgets and expenditures, and program performance metrics, to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Issue Identification: Help identify and document issues, defects, or discrepancies, working with stakeholders to facilitate timely resolutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas for improving the quality assurance process, striving to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborative Communication: Work with project team members, program stakeholders, and client management to communicate findings, recommendations, and improvement plans clearly and effectively.
- Training and Support: Receive training and guidance from senior professionals with expertise in the transportation sector’s unique challenges and requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Participate in risk assessment activities specific to transportation projects, assisting in identifying and mitigating potential quality-related risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Planning) or equivalent education or experience.
- A general understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly within the context of transportation-related projects and initiatives.
- Proficient with word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet tools
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience with business process management, quality assurance, quality control, or related fields through internships, coursework projects, or other relevant experiences.
- Familiarity with data validation and quality assessment techniques.
