Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated RN - Endoscopy for a travel assignment in Hyannis, Massachusetts. This role focuses on providing comprehensive nursing care within the endoscopy specialty, coordinating patient care, and participating in patient and family education throughout the procedural process.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Endoscopy

• Coordinate and deliver total nursing care for patients in the endoscopy setting.
• Participate in patient and family teaching, in preparation for, during, and post-procedure.
• Demonstrate leadership and team cooperation while maintaining professional nursing standards.
• Provide care utilizing an interdisciplinary approach and identify actual and potential patient problems.
• Administer medications safely within hospital guidelines and assist physicians with procedures.
• Identify and report signs of neglect/abuse as required by law, ensuring patient safety and legal compliance.
• Manage patient pain and perform cardiovascular assessments.
• Document patient diagnoses, assessments, and care plans.
• Maintain compliance with all mandatory requirements and best practice standards of care.

Requirements of the RN - Endoscopy

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of recent endoscopy experience.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification and successful passage of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams.
• ACLS and Moderate Sedation certification.
