Sr. Director, Social and Creators

Hasbro is seeking a visionary and strategic Senior Director, Social and Creators to lead and elevate our global creator and influencer marketing strategies while also owning the management of Hasbro’s organic social media handles. This individual will develop and execute end-to-end influencer programs and social strategies that align with Hasbro’s brand portfolio to drive engagement, awareness, and cultural relevance across priority markets. You will partner cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Digital, Communications, Legal, and International teams to build best-in-class strategies in the Creator and Social space that amplify our storytelling and deepen our connection with fans of all ages.

Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday –Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro’s temporary location in Boston, MA.

A day in the life as a Sr. Director of Creators, Influencers & Organic Social:

Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and lead the global influencer marketing strategy across Hasbro & Wizards of the Coast’s diverse brand portfolio including Toy brands, Video Games, Magic The Gathering, and Dungeons & Dragons.
  • Champion a creator- and fan-first mindset, integrating influencer marketing and organic social as core pillars of the marketing portfolio.
  • Build a multi-tiered creator ecosystem that includes mega, macro, micro, and emerging influencers across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitch.
  • Lead the organic social strategy and programming across Hasbro’s owned handles—ensuring platform-specific storytelling, timely engagement, and brand alignment across all content.
  • Push the boundaries of the Creator economy by exploring social commerce, AI, and creative partnerships with Creators.

Campaign Development

  • Partner with brand teams to co-develop influencer and social media campaigns that support product launches, entertainment releases, and fan engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee both influencer and organic content strategy, campaign ideation, briefs, and execution ensuring alignment with brand voice, cultural trends, and community interests.
  • Manage high-impact campaigns with talent from sourcing through post-campaign analysis, including product seeding, sponsored content, experiential activations, and native social content.

Talent Relations & Community Building

  • Cultivate long-term relationships with creators, influencers, and agents across gaming, toys, pop culture, parenting, and entertainment verticals.
  • Act as a key Hasbro representative and liaison to both the creator and social media communities, fostering two-way engagement, brand love, and loyalty.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Digital Marketing, Communications/PR, Legal, and Consumer Insights to ensure integrated planning, compliance, and measurement.
  • Partner with Global and Regional teams to scale creator and social programs with cultural relevance and local nuance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage community engagement and publishing schedules across organic social channels.

Measurement & Optimization

  • Set clear KPIs and measurement frameworks that track impact on brand awareness, engagement, conversion, sentiment, and social channel growth.
  • Lead post-mortem evaluations to optimize ongoing and future influencer and organic social initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry trends, FTC guidelines, platform evolutions, and emerging technologies to innovate and evolve Hasbro’s Creator and Social strategies.

What you'll bring:

  • 15+ years of experience in influencer marketing, social media, talent management, or digital strategy—preferably within entertainment, gaming, toys, or consumer brands.
  • Strong understanding of creator economy platforms, trends, and content formats across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and emerging channels.
  • Experience managing official brand social handles and publishing strategies.
  • Proven track record of executing high-profile influencer and organic social campaigns with measurable impact.
  • Deep network of relationships in the creator, talent agency, and digital content ecosystem.
  • Leadership experience managing teams, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills.
  • Passion for pop culture, fandoms, and building communities.
  • Work closely with the Paid Social and Media teams to ensure alignment across owned, earned, and paid channels, maximizing the impact of influencer and organic content through strategic amplification and coordinated planning.

The base salary range for this position is $172,900.00 to $259,300.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
