Job Description Summary:

Receives stores, maintains, and distributes materials and equipment in accordance with departmental policies to meet customers’ needs. Reports to the Materials Manager:

• Maintains adequate levels of inventory.
• Receive all goods, inspect for damages, and verify against purchase orders.
• Distribute supplies to appropriate locations.
• Enter receipts in the Oracle database.
• Provide courteous phone coverage and respond to requests with a sense of urgency.
• Always maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain delivery vehicles in accordance with vehicle policies.
• Maintain the stockroom area making sure that room is clean, safe, and orderly.
• Promotes courteous and respectful interpersonal relationships with staff, providers, and visitors all times.
• Wear designated uniform and are well groomed.

Physical Environment:

• Frequent sitting, standing & walking, and lifting to 50 lbs.
• Responsible for supply delivery outdoors and in all weather conditions.

Manual Dexterity :

• Requires manual dexterity using fine hand manipulation to operate computer keyboard.

Audible/Visual Demands:

• Requires ability to see computer screens and reports.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required.

EXPERIENCE:

• One to two years’ work experience preferred.

SKILLS/ABILITIES :

• Must maintain a valid MA driver’s license and good driving record.
• Must be able to push/pull hand truck and lift boxes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Current driver’s license.
• Safe driving record for three years.
• Must provide a True and Attested Driving Record from the Mass Department of Transportation.
• A Department of Transportation Medical Certification Driver Fitness Examination will be required and conducted within weeks of the date of hire and every 2 years thereafter, unless there is need to send a driver sooner due the findings of the initial examination.

Schedule: 7:00am - 3:00pm.
