Job Description Summary:
Receives stores, maintains, and distributes materials and equipment in accordance with departmental policies to meet customers’ needs. Reports to the Materials Manager:
- Maintains adequate levels of inventory.
- Receive all goods, inspect for damages, and verify against purchase orders.
- Distribute supplies to appropriate locations.
- Enter receipts in the Oracle database.
- Provide courteous phone coverage and respond to requests with a sense of urgency.
- Always maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain delivery vehicles in accordance with vehicle policies.
- Maintain the stockroom area making sure that room is clean, safe, and orderly.
- Promotes courteous and respectful interpersonal relationships with staff, providers, and visitors all times.
- Wear designated uniform and are well groomed.
Physical Environment:
- Frequent sitting, standing & walking, and lifting to 50 lbs.
- Responsible for supply delivery outdoors and in all weather conditions.
Manual Dexterity :
- Requires manual dexterity using fine hand manipulation to operate computer keyboard.
Audible/Visual Demands:
- Requires ability to see computer screens and reports.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required.
EXPERIENCE:
- One to two years’ work experience preferred.
SKILLS/ABILITIES :
- Must maintain a valid MA driver’s license and good driving record.
- Must be able to push/pull hand truck and lift boxes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- HS Diploma/GED required.
- Current driver’s license.
- Safe driving record for three years.
- Must provide a True and Attested Driving Record from the Mass Department of Transportation.
- A Department of Transportation Medical Certification Driver Fitness Examination will be required and conducted within weeks of the date of hire and every 2 years thereafter, unless there is need to send a driver sooner due the findings of the initial examination.
Schedule: 7:00am - 3:00pm.
