Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Lactation Consultant Program Coordinator (Days)

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Lactation Consultant Program Coordinator for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA .

Assignment:

• Days, 8hr- Monday through Friday
• Start Date: 4/27/2026
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Weekend Requirements: Holiday rotation required
• On Call Requirements: Yes/TBD
• Traveler Policy: WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY.
• Location: Pittsfield, MA
• Non-billable orientation: 8hrs

** THIS NEED WILL CONSIDER AN RN, OT, PT, SLP, OR PHARMACIST, AS LONG AS THEY MEET JOB REQUIREMENTS. ALL MUST BE MA LICENSED

** Any/All RTO must be included in the profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after the time of offer. Please obtain this information before submittal. Requests after the offer may lead to the rescission of the offer

This position is responsible for providing expert assessment, treatment, consultation, planning, and leadership oversight for optimal lactation management in both the inpatient and outpatient settings . For patients with advanced lactation support needs, the team will formulate an interdisciplinary plan of care and communicate with the care team related to these goals and plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and vital signs
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Perform nursing procedures within the RN scope of practice
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and families on care, medications, and discharge needs
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards
• Respond to emergencies and perform interventions as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic care environment
• Support and guide unlicensed assistive personnel when required

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
• Pay package details provided upon offer
  

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) - Equivalent Certs NOT accepted is required
• A MINIMUM of 2500 hours as a breastfeeding consultant is required
• Experience with inpatient lactation programs [required]
• Outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education, consultations, and/or teaching experience are required
• Meditech Expanse experience [strongly preferred]
• CERTS MUST BE IN HAND AT PROFILE UPLOAD. PLEASE INCLUDE IN PROFILE. FACILITY WILL NOT PEND UPON OFFER - This is non-negotiable
• Perm address must be included with the profile
• Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment
• 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment) is required
• Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability

Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):

• Drug screen and background check (facility required)
• Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
