Job Description

We are currently hiring for pipe layers with main line road work experience in the water and sewer industry. This position will have you traveling to sites within 70 miles of Boston week to week. We are paying prevailing wage for this position and rates will depend on the municipality. We need seasoned individuals with 5 years + of recent experience. A reliable car is required. We are holding interviews this week and working interviews the week following.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of pipe laying.
• Proficiency in road and highway construction.
• Experience in commercial construction
• Ability to use hand tools and interpret blueprints
• Knowledge of safety and construction supervision

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working on public works projects (DOT, municipal, state, or federal)
• Strong knowledge of utility installation, excavation, grading, and roadway construction
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and project specifications
• Proven leadership, communication, and crew-management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with inspectors and project stakeholders

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Quincy, MA.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
