Pay starting at $15.00/Hour
Responsibilities:- Keep a close eye on swimmers enjoying our many exciting water attractions
- Act as a first responder to keep guests safe
- Calculate the proper dispatch interval between riders
- Provide guests with a safe and enjoyable experience
- Ensuring that all Guests meet all rider requirements for each attraction
- Ensuring that all Guests ride the attraction appropriately
- Calculating the dispatch interval for each rider
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, by effectively managing attractions and grounds
- Achieving and maintaining a certification to effectively operate all waterpark attractions
- Adhering to bio-hazardous waste disposal procedure, and perform all related duties in compliance with fecal matter exposure policy
- Remaining at a Test-Ready competency level of skills once certified
- Assisting in other areas of the Aquatics Department
- Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies
- Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
- Ability to work in an environment as fast-paced as our water slides
- Willing complete and maintain Ellis and Associates training and certification
- Pass ride certification tests with 100% accuracy
- Understand basic rescue techniques, first aid, and CPR
- Strong attention to detail, not easily distracted, and commitment to safety
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Positive attitude to make guests excited about their ride or swim
- Must react well in stressful and emergency situations
- Must be 16 years or older(Can be 15 year of age for lower attendant)
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
- Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
