Sr. Business Development Manager

Your Mission
Leverage your deep expertise to drive the conversion of high-value construction opportunities, advancing our organization’s growth agenda. Apply your seasoned judgment to research emerging markets and analyze complex investment landscapes, providing strategic direction where it matters most.
Your Role in Action
· Build and nurture influential relationships with clients, OPMs, and AEs, while targeting and converting new business opportunities that align with our strategic vision.
· Lead direct outreach and collaborate with Client Executives to develop winning pursuit strategies, briefing teams and market leaders on progress, and networking across industry forums.
· Support proposal and presentation efforts, attending interviews as needed, and implement creative strategies to “open doors” with new clients in our focus markets.
· Leverage CRM tools to maintain and track pursuits, provide strategic insights, and craft compelling narratives for sales, proposals, and presentations.
· Coach associates, contribute to team performance, identify opportunities for community impact, exhibit leadership in organizational initiatives, and partner with project teams to elevate presentation messaging and skills.
What Sets You Apart
· 10-15 years of direct consultative sales and business development experience.
- An established network of Boston-based clients, OPM’s and industry professionals.
- Ability to engage effectively in a City and State political landscape.
- Deep knowledge of the commercial construction industry, or a BS in construction, engineering, architecture, or business – a plus!
- Demonstrated understanding of CRM systems. Unanet Experience is preferred.
