• Location: Boston, MA 02115 (Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Pediatric Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), Level I Trauma Center, Level III/IV NICU
• Position Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
• Assignment Dates: October 6, 2025 – January 5, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 07:00–19:30 / Night: 19:00–07:30); 50/50 day/night rotation or straight nights available
• Weekend Requirement: Every other or every third weekend
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2360–$2420
• Parking: Discounted off-site parking with shuttle; free onsite parking for night shift

Pediatric RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts (PERM license required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Pediatric ICU (PICU/MICU) nursing experience
• BLS and PALS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Prior travel nursing experience in pediatric or critical care settings
• Ability to float to PICU, NICU, MSICU, and CICU as needed
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Two professional references from two of the last three employers (different facilities)

Pediatric RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients in the MICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to other critical care units (PICU, NICU, MSICU, CICU) as required
• Care for children with complex diagnoses: neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, oncology, respiratory, trauma, and congenital anomalies
• Participate in weekend and rotating shift coverage as scheduled
