Resale Supplier Quality Engineer

As a Resale Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring supplier quality performance and supporting customer satisfaction through proactive quality management and rapid issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the resolution of customer complaints related to resale products by driving root cause investigations and ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions with suppliers.
- Partner closely with Customer Service, Operations, Production, and suppliers to contain quality issues and restore customer delivery expectations.
- Monitor and improve supplier performance through quality oversight, audits, corrective action follow-up, and performance reviews.
- Verify that incoming resale materials meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
- Conduct supplier visits and support supplier audits to assess performance, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement.
- Escalate critical quality concerns impacting customers and coordinate rapid response activities to protect customer satisfaction and business continuity.
- Maintain supplier quality documentation, records, corrective action reports, and performance metrics.
- Support incoming inspection and First Article Inspection (FAI) activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service support, or a related field.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively to customer quality concerns and coordinate supplier corrective actions.
- Experience supporting supplier audits and conducting supplier site visits.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action methodologies, including 8D or similar problem-solving tools.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions and manage competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Experience with incoming inspection and First Article Inspection (FAI).
- Exposure to supplier quality management, inspection, manufacturing quality systems, or customer-facing quality support roles.
- Technical training, military experience, or vocational certifications in manufacturing, quality, or related fields may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments such as aerospace, defense, electronics, or industrial manufacturing is a plus.
The base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. PCD considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
