Production Maintenance Manager
Production Maintenance Manager opening for an immediate direct role just outside of Concord, Massachusetts! This first-shift position leads the maintenance team to coordinate maintenance activities across three shifts, enhancing equipment reliability and reducing downtime. The right person for this role will have a BS in engineering or manufacturing along with proven experience as a maintenance manager leading a team in a 3 shift production environment. The person who will be successful in this role will be a great communicator, passionate about their work and have the ability to effectively motivate a diverse team. education: Bachelors responsibilities:
- Ensure the maintenance team achieves allocated work priorities meeting safety, Quality and Delivery (production) requirements while minimizing production downtime.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, generate reports, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Manage day-to-day operations continuously improving uptime and processes by modifying PMs and recommending process improvements with Quality, Engineering and Operations
- Manage and ensure that all employees receive necessary training related to job duties including safety, quality, equipment procedures, and standards of operations.
- Train, motivate and monitor the performance of maintenance teams and assist where warrented
- Develop a continuous improvement strategy in partnership with the Management Team and key business stakeholders.
- BS in engineering or manufacturing along with proven experience as a maintenance manager leading a team in a 3 shift production environment
- Successful supervisory experience operating in a production shift environment. Preferred plastics processing in compound production or plastics extrusion production.
- Experience developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with the knack for sharing solutions with others
