DIR. OF OPERATIONS
- To be an essential provider of mission-critical defense components & systems, spanning air, land, sea and space, recognized for our specialized capabilities, quality and dependability.
- To design, manufacture & build-to-print innovative and cost-effective products.
- To help our DoD, Prime and Foreign Military customers and US warfighter succeed in their missions.
- Oversee all daily operations, including production, quality assurance, supply chain, and logistics, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with DoD, ISO, ITAR, and other industry regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, KPIs, and performance metrics to optimize efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams, including production managers, supervisors, and quality teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Partner with engineering and program management teams to support new product introduction and sustainment.
- Manage resource planning, capacity analysis, and workforce allocation to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
- Oversee inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships to ensure material readiness and cost control.
- Champion lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Collaborate with HR to implement and monitor safety programs to maintain a zero-incident culture and ensure compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) policies.
- Analyze financial and operational data to forecast needs, manage budgets, and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Act as a key liaison with government customers, auditors, and regulatory bodies during inspections and audits.
- Support strategic initiatives and business growth by contributing to long-term operational planning.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive operations or manufacturing leadership experience, with at least 5 years at a senior management or director level.
- Proven success in defense or aerospace manufacturing, including familiarity with DoD contracts, ITAR, DFARS, and quality systems (AS9100 or ISO 9001).
- Strong expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with experience building and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing software.
