Landscaping Utility Crew Leader
Overview: Are you passionate about landscaping and have a knack for leading teams? We are seeking a skilled Utility Crew Leader to join our team. As the Landscaping Utility Crew Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of landscaping tasks, from routine maintenance to specialized projects. If you have a DOT license, a clean driving record, and a willingness to obtain a hoist license, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a crew in performing a wide range of landscaping tasks, including but not limited to mulching, pruning, and seasonal planting
- Ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
- Provide guidance and training to crew members as needed.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license and a good driving record.
- Willingness to obtain a hoisting license.
- Proven experience in landscaping, with a strong understanding of various tasks and techniques.
- Bark blower experience required.
- Pruning knowledge and skills required.
- Previous experience leading jobs and crews.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks requiring manual labor.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime hours as needed.
