Product Analysis Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Product Analysis Engineer for a Contract with a client in Burlington, MA. You will perform root cause investigations on biomedical implant products and develop protocols for testing and documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Rate Range: $42/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Product Analysis Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Perform failure analysis on explanted biomedical implant products to identify root cause failure mechanisms.

• Develop and implement investigative protocols, applying theoretical principles and analytical techniques for circuit and component-level analysis.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Surveillance to resolve complex issues.

• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including test reports, analysis summaries, and quality compliance records.

• Support definition and maintenance of test equipment required for quality responsibilities and ensure compliance with FDA and regulatory standards.

• Mentor and assist less experienced lab staff in solving complex problems and improving failure analysis processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Biomedical preferred).

• Entry-level or 1–2 years of engineering work experience (failure analysis experience preferred).

• Strong ability to perform failure analysis and root cause investigations on biomedical implant products.

• Proficiency in circuit analysis and technical documentation, with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Pay Details: $42.00 to $45.00 per hour
