Financial Reporting Associate up to $100k/yr + profit sharing

We seek a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Associate to join our team, ensuring accurate, timely financial statement and regulatory reporting. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, third-party administrators, and auditors in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual, quarterly, and interim financial statements and footnotes
• Complete quarterly SEC, quarterly CFTC/NFA, and annual CIMA regulatory filings
• Create investor-specific monthly reports and respond to investor queries
• Perform monthly/quarterly reconciliations to ensure accuracy in accounting records
• Compile audit deliverables and review formal auditor communications
• Analyze daily trades for classification accuracy in the accounting system
• Support operational improvements and participate in special projects as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting
• 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on financial services clients
• CPA certification or active progress toward obtaining certification
• Familiarity with fixed income securities, derivatives, and complex financial instruments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qual ifications:

• Big 4 or large national CPA firm experience preferred
• Knowledge of Total Return accounting system is an advantage
• Knowledge of master-feeder structures is a plus
