Job Description Summary

T901 Design Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, test, and qualification of hardware on the T901 engine. In the role of design engineer, you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. The engineer will be working with technical subject matter experts to support design completion and validation using best practices, will participate in manufacturing quality problem solving, non-conformance assessments, and assembly & test support and troubleshooting.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design: Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of T901 hardware using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
  • Work under supervision of technical subject matter experts to support design completion and validation of T901 hardware.
  • Manufacturing Support: Work with supplier(s) directly to address in-process manufacturing issues or non-conformances.
  • Hands on support of Lynn Assembly and Test Org (LATO) as T901 engines are built and instrumented during the qualification test phase.
  • Design, monitor, and analyze testing for T901 hardware to meet customer and internal GE requirements. Troubleshoot in real time any issues that arise around MSE hardware or systems.
  • Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers and assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with GE Aerospace policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in engineering/technology and/or mechanical component design.
  • GE Aerospace will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The base pay range for this position is $98,900.00 - 124,200.00 USD Annual . The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on March 25th, 2026.
