Job Summary
The Resident Dietitian is the face of wellness,sustainability and food and nutrition education.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare account for USDA administrative review, Buy American, and procurement audit and maintain account audit ready at all times
- Maintain compliance with FDA package labeling laws and prepare account for board of health inspection
- Plan modified menus
- Provides nutrition related training including food allergen training to all associates
- Assists the management team with menu development and nutrient analysis
- Collaborates with marketing to ensure appropriate nutrition communication & messaging
- Leads Dining Services Sustainability efforts – partnering with operations and campus stakeholders to track, improve, and communicate sustainability efforts in all dining spaces
- Manage accurate and compliant menus in Webtrition and publication in Nutrislice
- Partner with various campus offices, departments, and organizations to ensure alignment with university goals and needs
Qualifications:
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or RD Eligible
- Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable
- Experience working with special diets and food allergies
- Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft applications and nutrient analysis programs
