Experienced Real Estate Paralegal

Busy, Melrose General Practice Law Firm is actively seeking a skilled Real Estate Paralegal/Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience in handling residential real estate closings, from Purchase & Sale (P&S) to Post-Closing who Also has general practice and Family law experience.

The ideal candidate will exhibit dependability, responsiveness, and proficiency in both web-based and Microsoft Office software and familiarity with real estate closing software like Eclose is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of residential real estate closings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in each stage.
• Coordinate seamlessly with various stakeholders, including lenders, real estate agents, and home buyers/sellers, to facilitate smooth transactions.
• Perform title examinations, address minor issues, and oversee discharge tracking, utilizing expertise in real estate closing software.
• Assist with administrative tasks as required, demonstrating adaptability and strong teamwork in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Experience handling family law matters is a plus and a willingness to learn and assume Family Law Cases as needed is important.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of practical experience utilizing web-based software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in Google Suite is preferred, showcasing versatility in technology use.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-focused setting.
• Prior experience in litigation and Family law is a valuable asset.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with E-Closing and other real estate software is highly desirable.
