The Role: General Manager – Nantucket Inn | Nantucket, MA
We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on General Manager to lead all aspects of operations at the Nantucket Inn. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving strong financial performance, and building a high performing, engaged team.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the daily operations of a boutique, luxury coastal inn, delivering thoughtful, personalized guest experiences at every touchpoint
- Curate an elevated service culture across rooms, food & beverage, and public spaces, ensuring consistency, warmth, and attention to detail
- Oversee financial performance, including revenue optimization, labor strategy, and cost controls, with a balance of discipline and creativity
- Build and inspire a polished, service-driven team through visible, hands-on leadership and coaching
- Set the tone for the Nantucket Inn experience—refined, welcoming, and authentically connected to the island lifestyle
- Serve as an ambassador for the Inn within the local community, cultivating relationships that enhance the guest journey
- Partner with marketing and ownership to bring the property’s story to life through social media, seasonal programming, and guest engagement

- Grounded in hotel operations with the ability to balance execution and strategic thinking
- Comfortable leading day-to-day operations while continuing to refine financial and commercial acumen
- Known for your presence on the floor, intuitive service instincts, and ability to elevate both people and performance
