Clinical Support: Home and Community Connections is seeking a clinician to join our team. The clinician is responsible for supporting Home & Community Connections programs and individuals supported, with comprehensive, culturally informed, behavioral supports. This clinician understands that behavior is most often a form of communication where the primary approach used is seeking to understand, with curiosity, what is being communicated. The person in this position works as a team with Home and Community Connection’s Clinical Director, Assistant Directors, Program Managers and Support Specialists. With the support of the Clinical Director, they will develop relationships with and assess the behavioral health needs of folks supported, develop/maintain behavior plans, ensure data tracking is being collected accurately and provide training and mentoring to staff members on behavioral interventions. This position will be a combination of administrative (in office) as well as providing training and support to individuals supported in their homes. Daily travel to our homes and our Holyoke office is required. Our 12 residential support homes are located in Belchertown, South Hadley, Chicopee and Holyoke.

HOURS: Full-time 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, non-exempt position. $31-$36/hour depending on relevant experience.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree or currently pursuing master’s degree in related field (Psychology, ABA, Mental Health, Social Work, Trauma Informed Care) and/or relevant years’ experience working with adults with developmental disabilities. PsyD, LMHC, BCBA, or LISCW is preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

· Must know how to work within Microsoft Office, Edge, Outlook, Word & Excel.

· This position requires learning how to do data analysis, graphing, creating templates for visual supports & protocols, writing professional documents, uploading, faxing documents and creating/providing presentations for staff training & orientation.

· Minimum 2 years of experience working with adults in the field of mental health, developmental disabilities, ABA and/or clinical behavior analysis.

· Knowledge of Positive Behavior Supports, Department of Developmental Disabilities, trauma informed care and/or behavioral/mental health crisis stabilization is a plus.

· Demonstrated commitment to social justice.
