Hourly Pay Range: $20 - $21

Schedule: Wednesday 11am – 7pm, Thursday 8am-4pm, Friday 8am-4pm (24 hours)

What You’ll Do:
Our WIC program empowers families through nutrition education and access to healthy foods. You’ll provide nutrition services to low-risk WIC participants, ensuring compassionate and culturally sensitive care. Key responsibilities include:

• CPA I : Focus on low-risk children:
  • Collect anthropometric/hematologic data (height, weight, bloodwork).
  • Conduct dietary assessments and assign food packages.
  • Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling and referrals.
• CPA II : Expand to serve women and infants:
  • Lead breastfeeding support and group nutrition education.
  • Develop educational materials and quality assurance initiatives.
• Document care accurately in WIC systems and maintain confidentiality.

What You Bring:

• High school diploma/GED + 1 year in healthcare (e.g., outreach, counseling).
• Passion for nutrition/health; WIC population sensitivity.
• Strong communication skills (English); Portuguese fluency a plus .
• Flexibility to work across multiple clinic locations.
