Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Falmouth, MA

Job Type: Contract (Local or Travel)

Shift: Evening (8-hour shifts, 5 days/week)

Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: No weekends, holidays, or on-call

Pay Rate: $1,687.50 – $1,800 per week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an exciting Travel or Local job in  Falmouth, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct the daily functions of nursing assistants.
• Coordinate and plan nursing care and services for the assigned shift.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document as required.
• Complete all documentation related to admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes and resident medical records.
• Participate in physician rounds and follow up on care recommendations.
• Perform nursing services such as wound care, catheter care, tube feedings, blood draws, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Collect and process lab specimens.
• Monitor and report vital signs and health status changes.
• Educate residents and families on relevant healthcare topics.
• Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and monitor outside food intake.
• Uphold resident rights and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Promote a supportive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current, active Massachusetts LPN license (unencumbered).
• BLS/CPR and AED certification.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding).
• Knowledge of long-term care best practices and regulations.
• Strong clinical, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Leadership and supervisory capabilities.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Physically able to lift at least 50 pounds and meet job-related physical demands.
• Understanding of age-specific care for elderly/long-term care residents.
