About the Role:

We're looking for a talented, hands-on, experienced Lead Carpenter with a specialty in door and window installations. This role is perfect for someone meticulous about fit and finish, understands the importance of thermal integrity, and can lead a team while getting hands-on with challenging installs.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supervise and coordinate luxury doors and window installation for residential builds

• Read and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and structural details accurately to determine the appropriate layout and installation procedures

• Delegate daily tasks and keep your crew efficient and motivated

• Inspect work to ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications

• Secure and manage carpentry tools, materials, and ensure the site is organized effectively

• Perform quality control checks and proactively anticipate and address framing issues

• Maintain a safe job site and ensure code compliance

• Communicate regularly with project managers, subcontractors, and customers

• Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and safety

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of finished carpentry experience, with proven expertise in doors and windows and 2+ years of leadership experience preferred

• Experience installing a variety of high-end brands and styles of windows and doors

• Ability to glaze glass

• Ability to work efficiently as well as to anticipate and solve problems on-site

• Ability to travel and stay over for up to 5 continuous nights

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Have the generally required carpentry tools

• Ability to lead and teach carpenters and other tradespeople working under you

• Highly motivated self-starter

• Must be a team player, be open-minded, have a curiosity and desire to continuously learn, improve, and share this information with others
