• Job Title: Locum Tenens Occupational Therapist – Rehabilitation
• Location: Lancaster, MA 01523 (Central Massachusetts)
• Facility Type: Rehabilitation / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel Occupational Therapy Contract)
• Start Date: August 5, 2025
• End Date: November 4, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shifts
• Scheduled Hours: 36 hours/week (Guaranteed minimum: 32 hours/week)
• Typical Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• On-Call: No call required
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1620 - $1660

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain
• 1+ year of experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred; new graduates welcome
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Rehabilitation Therapy certification required
• COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to start (results required 48 hours before start)
• Ability to complete all credentialing requirements, including background checks and references
• 8 hours of dementia training (can be completed prior to start date)

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in a rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve functional goals
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate therapy records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, and home programs
